My friend Lu Hubbard forwarded the e-mail about Emma's passing. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Emma and I shared many things through quilting and the Sacramento Quilters Guild, and her talent and personality will never be forgotten. Since my husband Eugene and I moved to Oregon four years ago and then to Oklahoma just a year ago, I've not been able to attend the meetings and/or be involved in California quilting, and we do miss our friends in that area. We are still involved in the quilt world, and are planning a trip to Houston next week. I had thought about Emma just a few days ago and wondered if I'd see her there, as she so loved going to that show. Her presence will be missed by many, and especially those in the quilting world. Please know that you and the family are in our prayers at this difficult time.
